Couples non resident in Catalonia - ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION

The Gynaecologist will inform the patient of the hormone treatment to be followed in the coming weeks to stimulate ovulation.

The first or second day of the menstruation the patient will contact the centre to confirm the guidelines to be followed and the hormone dose to be taken.

On the same day the first scan control will be scheduled one week after having started the treatment. This control can be made by the gynaecologist in the place of residence, it will only be necessary to send the results by e-mail or fax. With these data the next control will be programmed and the medication dose will be adjusted. 

When the controls show an adequate ovary reply, the insemination will be programmed. This will be two or three days after the last scan control.

After the insemination, the patient can return to the place of origin on the same day.
